Citizenship Application Process

    Stage 1

    Applicant contacts Service Provider who prepares citizenship file.  Applicant pays due diligence fee to start application process.

    Stage 2

    Citizenship file is submitted.

    Stage 3

    Upon receipt of due diligence clearance, applicant is Issued "Approved in Principle" letter by the Citizenship-by-Investment Unit (CIU).

    Stage 4

    Applicant then makes a contribution to the Foundation through an approved escrow account.  Monies remain in escrow until the applicant receives Naturalization Certificate.

    Stage 5

    Applicant receives Naturalization Certificate.

    Stage 6

    Applicant applies for Passport.

          Stage 7

    Passport is issued.

    Thirty-six (36) businesses (16 in St. Kitts and 20 in Nevis) that were funded under the Small Entrepreneur and Enterprise Development (SEED) project had started operations by February 2015.
